Pendants Faroese Shawl is contoured and shaped for a natural, excellent drape and fit. The pattern features garter stitch knitted lace of assorted jewel-like shaped lace motifs, yarn over increases and some of the yarn overs in the lace motifs are used to shape the panels and pretty lace shoulders.
Knitting starts with just a few stitches for the neckband at the top, then works downward in garter stitch and lace stitch motifs. Yarn over increases and the lace patterns themselves are used to shape the traditional center back panel, side panels, front bands, and fitted shoulders. Since this garment knits up easily into a practical and lovely creation without the need for close attention to size and fit, you may find it ideal for gift giving (or even yourself!)
Adjusts smaller or larger with change in yarn and corresponding change in needle size and yardage.
