About this item
A pattern for a cushion taken from motifs from a Yorkshire sampler. The cushion is stitched in full cross stitch so it is suitable for aida and linen. The cushion is charted for DMC and overdyed floss. The model is stitched in overdyed floss on 35 count Zweigart Edinburgh linen in Platinum. Christiana was born in 1837 in Walkington, near Beverley, East Yorkshire. She stitched her sampler quite late into her teens, in fact only a year before she was married.
