The "Christmas Reindeer in the Forest" design was inspired by an early 20th century Italian needlework pattern. This design is based on the same pattern as the "Antique Reindeer in the Forest," (Pattern #1122) by Happiness Is HeartMade, except this pattern has several minor changes to the design, and also has the addition of Christmas-themed elements. The chart is done in colored squares with symbols, for easier stitching. The chart includes the thread color number for the brown reindeer, but the reindeer can be stitched using your choice of white/antique white/winter white thread. If doing this, be sure to use an aida fabric color that will let the white thread show up. The pattern has a festive deer with a wreath, ornaments hanging from the branches, and a squirrel up in the tree. Holiday-colored red flowers line the ground under the deer.
Stitch Count: 79w x 77h. Design Size on 14-Count Aida: 5.64"w x 5.5"h. Design Size on 16-Count Aida: 4.94"w x 4.81"h.
