I was inspired to make these citrus cozies, because of my own tea-drinking habits. Many tea drinkers put a slice of lemon in their tea, but I prefer orange juice. So, I thought, why not make tea cozies to represent these citrus fruit we use in ur tea! Hence, the lemon, orange, and lime slices, knit a little larger than desired size and then felted. I used Oasis Aussi Wool, a chunky-bulky wt. soft wool yarn for the cozies. It feels nice while knitting, felts wonderfully, is reasonably priced, and comes in a wide range of solid colors.
