Great Wave off Kanagawa (Mini Chart)

The Great Wave off Kanagawa, created by Katsushika Hokusai in the early 1830s, is one of the most iconic works of Japanese art and a defining piece of the Ukiyo-e genre. This woodblock print depicts a massive, curling wave threatening to engulf three small boats, manned by fishermen braving the tumultuous sea.
