My vision of a Northern Christmas is a Christmas filled with pine trees, snow, reindeer, warm sweaters with interesting colorwork, snow, colorful ornaments and snow! Stitched in the traditional colors of Christmas, with a sprinkling of aqua to add a pop of fun and the warm browns of a cup of hot chocolate, Northern Christmas will make you nostalgic for that unique quiet of a snow-filled landscape. The model is stitched on 40 ct River Gum by Fox and Rabbit using the listed Belle Soie silks. As you can see, a DMC conversion is provided as well. While I chose a darker, spruce-colored fabric, this would be equally lovely on gold-tones or other greens. Natural, raw linen colors would also be lovely. I recommend avoiding lighter colored fabrics so you don't lose all of the "snow". Please honor the hours of work and creativity that I put into my designs.
