Rose Sonata has a long history. It started as a mixed media design in 2020, but it didn't work as I had hoped. I next worked it as a design with the same main elements and a still life feel. I wasn't happy with that either, so it went into time out for 3 years. I pulled it out last fall and totally reworked it and I'm thrilled with the outcome. The rich colors of the roses, echoed in the border creates a gorgeous palette that is a joy to stitch. The model is stitched on 40ct Carpet Bag Med Lt by Mason Linens using Hand-dyed fibers silk floss. A DMC conversions is also provided. Please note that DMC will not give the same look as the silks.
