Penguins are special to my friend Pam. She told me that when she and her husband were dating, he gave her a heart shaped pebble. He said that penguins give a pebble to the one they want to spend their life with. He then proposed to her. These mittens are for Pam. The sample is knit in Sweet Georgia Yarns Superwash DK in colorways: Birch (125 yd)s, Pumpkin (25 yds), and Charcoal (110 yds).
