About the Design: As first seen in Knitter's Fall '96 I was thinking of my husband, when I designed this sweatshirt, as he is an engine rebuilder/mechanic and often wears cotton thermal sweatshirts. These sweatshirts are not warm enough and also shrink, with all the washing and machine drying they require. My sweatshirt is a unisex piece. I'd wear it on our end-of-season yard sale forays, gardening, or for running errands. The fit is comfortable. If you're not someone who wears hoods, simply work a ribbing at the neck, before working the single crochet edging on the front edges and insert a slightly longer zipper, to extend up into the ribbing.
