Mauve Blush, the first in a collection of floral cross stitch interpretations of my watercolor work, finishes at 57w x 84h. The bloom is stitched with full stitches in 23 DMC colors to capture the watercolor feel with the surrounding 'wash' stitched with half stitches. The flower is loosely outlined with backstitching. My model is stitched on 14ct. aida in 'Spirit of the Forest' from BeStitchMe.
